What is the difference between draft shift and publish shift

The main difference lies in whether the shift is made visible to employees or not:

• Draft Shift:
  When you create a shift but don’t publish it, it’s saved as a draft. Draft shifts are not visible to employees until you choose to publish them.
• Published Shift:
  When you select Publish Shift while creating, the shift becomes active straight away. It’s visible in the Scheduler Calendar, and employees are notified immediately.

In short, draft shifts are private (for later), and published shifts are live (ready to go).
