Yes. RotaWiz allows you to invoice based on the employee’s actual clock-in and clock-out hours. Once the Company Admin approves the actual clock-in and clock-out time from the Timesheet, the invoice hours are automatically updated accordingly.
- This is useful when the actual hours worked differ from the scheduled shift hours.
Here are the steps you can follow:
- Once the shift has been created or completed, click on Timesheet.
- Locate the employee who was assigned to the respective shift.
- Click on the number displayed under the Approve section next to the employee’s name.
- This will open the employee’s detailed timesheet, where you can view both the scheduled shift start and end time and the actual clock-in and clock-out time.
- Locate the respective shift and, under the Actions section on the right-hand side, choose to approve either the Shift Time or Clock-in/Clock-out Time.
Example
If the scheduled shift time is 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM (2 hours), but the employee clocked in and out from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM (1 hour), approving the Clock-in/Clock-out Time will automatically update the invoice to reflect 1 hour instead of the scheduled 2 hours.
Notes
- By default, the invoice will show the scheduled shift start and end time. The invoice hours will only change to the actual clock-in and clock-out time once the Company Admin approves the clock-in/clock-out time from the Timesheet.
- To see a shift in Invoices, you must assign a Price Book and Line Item(s) to the shift before the shift is completed.
