1 min read Updated October 2026

Follow these steps

Step 1:

From the left navigation menu, click on Clients.

Step 2:

Click on the client’s name to open the client’s profile.

Step 3:

Click on the Fund Details tab.

Step 4:

Before allocating any funding, you must create an NDIS Plan for the client. Click on Add Plan in the right corner.

Step 5:

Enter the required NDIS plan information, including:

  • NDIS Plan Name
  • Plan Start and End Dates etc.
  • Any other mandatory plan details
  • Upload supporting documents (if applicable)
  • Assign a Plan Manager, if one has been assigned to the client.

Step 6:

Click on Submit to save the NDIS Plan.

Step 7:

Once the NDIS Plan has been added, the admin can distribute the client’s budget across the available support segments.

Step 8:

Under the required support segment, click on the + Add Fund Details and select the appropriate Price Book.

Step 9:

Select the required Price Book, Assign a line item(s) and enter the corresponding Quantity. Click on Save.

Step 10:

If required, click on the Funding Period to create funding periods for the allocated budget.

Step 11:

Select the number of funding periods you want to create.

    • You can create a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 24 funding periods.

Step 12:

The system will automatically distribute the allocated budget equally across the selected funding periods.

    • For example: If the allocated budget is $ 6,071.67 and you select 3 funding periods, the system will distribute the budget equally across all three funding periods.

Notes

  • Each funding period can be edited by clicking on the Edit button. The admin can update:
    • The funding period date range.
    • The allocated budget amount.
    • The funding period status (for example, Active or Closed).
  • When a funding period is marked as Closed, any remaining budget is automatically carried forward to the next funding period.
  • The admin can add additional funding periods, if required.
  • The admin can delete upcoming funding periods, provided they have not been used.
  • Only the Line Item(s) added in the Fund Details section will be available for selection when creating or editing a shift in the Scheduler.
